This is a smart, fun and colourful pouch bag to own. It is a completely original design by our brand label ARI + (ARITASU)!!
It’s a cute bag that can be used to either hang from your main bag or it can be hooked onto your trousers.
You can use the bag for your loose change, keys, medicine or any such small items.

The front of the pouch is a hand embroidered wave pattern.
Whilst the back of the pouch is a dark blue woven textile taken from a vintage patterned obi.
The lining of the bag is made of yellow-green cotton broadcloth. The fastener of the bag is in the same colour as the obi material used, giving a stark colour contrast.

The brand name plate of ARI+JAPAN(ARITUS) is attached with orange embroidery thread in four corner.

Material
The material used on the front of the bag is from a vintage silk obi.
All other material is brand new.
The lining of the bag is made of cotton broadcloth.
A thick No. 4 fastener has been used.
The length of the side chain strap is 18cm.

Additional information: What is gSeigaihah (Blue Sea Dance)?
The name blue sea dance, otherwise known as the pattern of the waves in a blue ocean, are said to have originated from the name of the dance music used for the Japanese Imperial court, which also appears in the Tale of Genji (1001).
The wave design is made from the arches of concentric circles which have been superimposed upon each other so that only the upper portion of each set of circles is visible which creates a fan shaped pattern. As well as representing a prayer for a peaceful life that will always continue like the smooth quiet sea shown when the fan is spread open. The shape also has the meaning of gbecoming prosperoush and it is often taken as a lucky charm, which is often referred to as gSuehiroh. In addition, in the pattern of gthe waterh, it is believed that it holds the meaning of a lucky omen for purity and warding off evil spirits. As for the design, it is thought that this has come to signify a symbol of expressing water, after the Kamakura era (1190 to present).
